bodrum
The story of the Bodrum Peninsula spans over 3,000 years. The city of Bodrum itself was once the ancient city of Halicarnassus, a prominent port in the Caria region . Its most famous ruler, King Mausolus, left a monumental legacy: a grand tomb built around 353 BC that was so magnificent it became known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
boat
Bodrum combines the best elements of a perfect sailing holiday. The region boasts stable weather, a modern marina infrastructure, and a coastline dotted with countless coves and bays that provide calm and protected anchorages. It's a world-renowned center for gulet building, meaning you'll find an unmatched selection of boats crafted from local pine, chestnut, and mahogany by generations of skilled shipwrights.
Woven
The earliest known examples of knotted carpets are attributed to the Huns, with fragments discovered in the Pazırık Tumulus at the foot of the Altai Mountains dated to the 3rd–4th centuries BC. This ancient craft traveled westward with nomadic tribes and entered Anatolia in the 11th century with the Seljuk Turks, where it found a new and fertile home.

dalyan
Dalyan sits serenely on the banks of the Dalyan River, its streets lined with family-run pensions and riverside restaurants serving fresh fish. The town rose from obscurity in 1986, when environmentalists successfully protested against the development of a luxury hotel on İztuzu Beach, rallying to have the area declared a protected zone.
bafalake
The result is a nature park of stunning contrasts, where the still, blue waters of the lake reflect the imposing peaks of the Beşparmak Mountains. This protected wetland is a haven for wildlife, home to over 200 bird species, including pelicans, herons, and flamingos during migration seasons. The quiet, largely untouched ambiance of the area makes it a perfect destination for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.
bodrum
A short walk away, you will find the unmistakable Bodrum Castle (Castle of St. Peter). Built by the Knights Hospitaller in the 15th century using stones from the Mausoleum, this imposing fortress is a landmark you cannot miss . Within its walls, you will discover the world-renowned Museum of Underwater Archaeology . It is one of the most important museums of its kind, featuring 14 exhibition halls with artifacts recovered from ancient shipwrecks dating back over 3,500 years, including the world's oldest known shipwreck .
labranda
Labranda was home to the cult of Zeus Labrandeus, a local version of the god depicted holding a labrys, or double-headed axe. The name "labrys" itself may be the root of the word "labyrinth," meaning "place of the double axe". This iconic symbol was once kept in the Lydian capital of Sardes before being given to the Carians and placed in the temple here.
pamukkale
The story of Pamukkale begins deep beneath the earth. Thermal springs, heated by geothermal activity, rise through fractures in the Earth's crust, carrying with them a supersaturated solution of calcium carbonate. When this mineral-rich water emerges at the surface and flows down the mountainside, it releases carbon dioxide into the air.
priene
Originally a coastal city, Priene's harbor has long since been silted up by the Meander River, leaving it perched above a plain of cotton fields. This 2,500-year-old Ionian city was among the first ever to be laid out on a grid system, with six main streets running east-west and fifteen crossing at right angles, dividing the town into approximately eighty city blocks.
